Your Library Card
Getting a card, renewing materials, placing holds, etc.
Who can get a card
Umatilla County residents are eligible to receive a library borrower's card at no charge. Non-resident and temporary residents will be required to pay a fee to receive a library borrower's card.
How to Get Your Card
Completion of a borrower's card application, proof of residence and presentation of acceptable indentification are required before a card will be issued. Persons under the age of 18 are minors, unable to create a legal borrower's card agreement. An application submitted by a minor must be signed by his or her custodial parent or legal guardian.
Placing Holds
Holds may be placed in person, by phone or through the Sage Library System at www.eos.eou.edu using their individual account. Contact the Pilot Rock Public Library if help is needed in setting up and individual account.
Renewing Your Borrowed Items
Most items may be renewed for one additional loan period. You may make your request in person or by phone. Card holders using the Sage Library System may also renew online with their individual account 24 hours a day if there are no holds on the item, the item is not overdue or the item has not been previously renewed.
Library Fines
Overdue fines will be assessed for items not returned on time. Items returned after their due date are considered overdue and are subject to fines.
